Returns and right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU you may withdraw from your purchase within fourteen days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Return shipping is at your cost. Below the full text and the model withdrawal form.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods — or, for goods ordered in one order and delivered separately, of the last good.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, inform us (Hanvos Elektra Techniek B.V., Nieuwland Parc 309A, 2952 DD Alblasserdam, the Netherlands, phone +31 85 303 7272, e-mail info@instalpunt.nl) of your decision by an unequivocal statement (a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the deadline it is sufficient to send your communication before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw, we reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we are informed of your decision. We use the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise; you will not incur any fees as a result. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earliest.
You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period has expired. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. For goods that cannot normally be returned by post (boilers, cylinders, radiators, home batteries) the cost of return by carrier is estimated at a maximum of approximately 150 euros.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Order-on-demand items
Items marked as order-on-demand are ordered specifically for you from the manufacturer or wholesaler, who does not take them back. We therefore ask you to check your appliance designation carefully before ordering, or to send us a photo of the rating plate beforehand. Returns are handled under the return conditions of the shop.
Legal guarantee
Independently of the right of withdrawal, you benefit from the two-year legal guarantee of conformity under EU consumer law.
