Which dehumidifier suits your room?
Capacity. For a bedroom or bathroom, allow 10–16 litres a day (Aquaria S1 and Aquaria S2 10–16). A living room or basement of up to about 100 m³ needs 20–24 litres. Large basements, garages and workshops call for 30–40 litres a day: the Aquaria S2 30/40 and the professional Seccoprof 30 P and 40 P.
Humidity. Indoors, 40–60 % relative humidity is comfortable; above that, mould grows faster. The built-in hygrostat keeps the level you set.
Drying laundry. The Aquaria S2 models have a laundry-drying mode, handy in a utility room.
Shipping €9.95 to Austria, Denmark, Italy, Spain and Sweden, €12.95 to other EU countries, free from €199; usually 3–7 days.
Frequently asked questions
How many litres a day do I need?
Bedroom or bathroom: 10–16 litres a day. Living room or basement up to about 100 m³: 20–24 litres. Large basement, garage or workshop: 30–40 litres a day.
What is a good indoor humidity level?
Between 40 and 60 % relative humidity. Above 60 % the risk of mould and dust mites increases.
Where does the water go?
Into the water tank, which you empty when full; the unit then stops automatically. For continuous use, most models can be connected to a drain with a hose.
Can I dry laundry with a dehumidifier?
Yes. The Olimpia Splendid Aquaria S2 models have a dedicated laundry-drying mode.
