Compatible with your boiler?
The DT4 is an on/off thermostat: it switches the boiler on until the room reaches the desired temperature, then switches it off again. This works with virtually all boilers, including most OpenTherm boilers (without modulation in that case). If you want an OpenTherm boiler to modulate, choose a modulating thermostat such as the Honeywell Round. Which thermostat suits which boiler: Room thermostat selection guide. Instalpunt does not check whether a thermostat suits your specific boiler.
Installation
Many thermostats can be replaced yourself in 10 minutes: 2 wires out of the old thermostat, 2 wires into the new one. Shipping: € 17.95 to Austria, Denmark, Italy, Spain and Sweden, € 24.95 to other EU countries; usually 3–5 working days.
