Frequently asked questions about this item

Which room is the Olimpia Splendid Caleo 2 Turbo suitable for?

The Caleo 2 Turbo is a 2000 W electric convector heater that heats rooms up to 60 m³. Rule of thumb: with normal insulation, allow 30 to 40 W per m³, so around 57 m³ as main heating or more as supplementary heating.

What does it cost to run a 2000 W electric convector heater?

At full power the Caleo 2 Turbo uses 2 kWh per hour. What that costs depends on your electricity price. The thermostat switches the unit off automatically once the set temperature is reached, so actual consumption is lower.

Is it safe to leave an electric convector heater running unattended?

The Caleo 2 Turbo has a safety thermostat against overheating. Keep at least 50 cm of free space all around and never cover the unit. For use in a bathroom, choose a model with protection rating IP21 or IP22.

What is the difference compared with the other Olimpia Splendid models?

An electric convector heater heats quietly through natural air circulation and is suitable as the main heating for a room. Compare all models on our Electric heating page, sorted by type and output.
