Wet or electric?
Wet underfloor heating (manifold + pipes) is more economical and works with a boiler or heat pump – suitable as the main heating for whole houses. Electric heating mats and films are ideal for smaller areas (bathroom, kitchen) as supplementary heating or in renovated rooms where breaking up the floor is not possible. Not sure? Installation
Wet underfloor heating is installed by milling channels into the existing floor or by pouring a new screed over the pipes. Electric heating mats are laid directly in the tile adhesive. Have it installed by a qualified installer. Shipping: € 9.95 to Austria, Denmark, Italy, Spain and Sweden, € 12.95 to other EU countries; usually 3–5 working days. Free delivery from €199.
