Wet or electric?
Wet underfloor heating (manifold + pipes) is more economical and pairs with a boiler or heat pump — suitable as the main heating for whole houses. Installation
Wet underfloor heating is laid by milling channels into the existing floor or by pouring new screed over the pipes. Electric heating mats are laid directly in the tile adhesive.
