Compatible with your boiler?
The EasyControl is an EMS-bus thermostat from Bosch. You connect it directly to Nefit and Bosch boilers with EMS bus (TrendLine, ProLine, TopLine, BaseLine, SmartLine, 9000i, 2300i, 1200, Bosch HRC II/HRS II, Condens 3000W/6000W, Compact). On boilers of other brands (Intergas, Remeha, ATAG and other OpenTherm boilers) and on older Nefit boilers (ProLine NxT, EcomLine, Economy) it only works with the EasyControl Adapter; on Vaillant only with a VR-33 module plus adapter. Instalpunt does not check whether it suits your specific appliance; check the protocol in the boiler's installation manual.

Many thermostats can be replaced yourself in 10 minutes: 2 wires out of the old thermostat, 2 wires into the new one.
