Diaphragm expansion vessel of 18 litres for sealed heating systems. It takes up the expansion of the heating water as it warms, keeping the pressure stable so the relief valve does not drip. Tall model (361 mm), factory pre-charge 0.5 bar, max. working pressure 3 bar.
Set the pre-charge to the static height of the system (rule of thumb: 0.1 bar per metre above the vessel, at least 0.5 bar) before filling. A system that needs frequent topping up often points to an empty or failed diaphragm.
