Frequently asked questions about this item

What size room is the Olimpia Splendid Caldo Line NW suitable for?

The Caldo Line NW is a 2000 W ceramic fan heater that heats rooms up to 60 m³. Rule of thumb: with normal insulation, allow 30 to 40 W per m³, i.e. approx. 57 m³ as main heating or more as supplementary heating.

What does it cost to heat with a 2000 W ceramic fan heater?

At full power, the Caldo Line NW uses 2 kWh per hour; the cost depends on your electricity price per kWh. Thanks to the thermostat, the appliance switches off automatically once the set temperature is reached, so actual consumption is lower.

Can a ceramic fan heater safely run unattended?

The Caldo Line NW has a safety thermostat against overheating. Keep at least 50 cm of clearance all around and never cover the appliance. For use in a bathroom, choose a model with an IP21 or IP22 protection rating.

What is the difference from the other Olimpia Splendid models?

A ceramic fan heater heats with a ceramic element that warms up quickly and does not burn dust. Compare all models on our Electric heating page, sorted by type and output.
