Frequently asked questions about this item

Which room is the Olimpia Splendid Caldo Pop B suitable for?

The Caldo Pop B is a 2000 W fan heater and heats rooms up to 60 m³. Rule of thumb: with normal insulation, allow 30 to 40 W per m³, i.e. about 57 m³ as main heating or more as supplementary heating.

What does it cost to run a 2000 W fan heater?

At full power the Caldo Pop B uses 2 kWh per hour. The hourly cost is this figure multiplied by your electricity price per kWh. Because the thermostat switches the unit off automatically once the set temperature is reached, actual consumption is lower.

Can a fan heater be left on unattended?

The Caldo Pop B has a safety thermostat against overheating. Keep at least 50 cm of clearance all round and never cover the unit. For use in the bathroom, choose a model with protection rating IP21 or IP22.

What is the difference from the other Olimpia Splendid models?

A fan heater blows warm air directly into the room and reaches temperature within a minute. Compare all models on our Electric heating page, sorted by type and output.
