Frequently asked questions about this item

Which room is the Olimpia Splendid Caldo Flick suitable for?

The Caldo Flick is a 1800 W ceramic fan heater and heats rooms up to 55 m³. Rule of thumb: with normal insulation, allow 30 to 40 W per m³, i.e. about 51 m³ as main heating or more as supplementary heating.

What does it cost to run a 1800 W ceramic fan heater?

At full power the Caldo Flick uses 1.8 kWh per hour. The hourly cost is this figure multiplied by your electricity price per kWh. Because the thermostat switches the unit off automatically once the set temperature is reached, actual consumption is lower.

Can a ceramic fan heater be left on unattended?

The Caldo Flick has a safety thermostat against overheating and tip-over protection. Keep at least 50 cm of clearance all round and never cover the unit. For use in the bathroom, choose a model with protection rating IP21 or IP22.

What is the difference from the other Olimpia Splendid models?

A ceramic fan heater heats with a ceramic element that warms up quickly and does not burn dust. Compare all models on our Electric heating page, sorted by type and output.
