Frequently asked questions about this item

Which room is the Olimpia Splendid Caldo Funky suitable for?

The Caldo Funky is a 2000 W fan heater that heats rooms up to 60 m³. Rule of thumb: with normal insulation, allow 30 to 40 W per m³, i.e. about 57 m³ as main heating or more as supplementary heating.

What does heating with a 2000 W fan heater cost?

At full power the Caldo Funky uses 2 kWh per hour. The cost per hour is this consumption multiplied by your electricity price per kWh. Thanks to the thermostat, the unit switches off automatically as soon as the set temperature is reached, so actual consumption is lower.

Is it safe to leave a fan heater running unattended?

The Caldo Funky has a safety thermostat against overheating and tip-over protection. Keep at least 50 cm clearance all around and never cover the unit. For use in the bathroom, choose a model with protection rating IP21 or IP22.

How does it differ from the other Olimpia Splendid models?

A fan heater blows warm air directly into the room and is up to temperature within a minute. Compare all models on our Electric heating page, sorted by type and output.
