Frequently asked questions about this item

Which room is the Olimpia Splendid Caldo Up T suitable for?

The Caldo Up T is a 2000 W bathroom heater that heats rooms up to 60 m³. Rule of thumb: with normal insulation, allow 30 to 40 W per m³, i.e. approx. 57 m³ as main heating or more as supplementary heating.

What does heating with a 2000 W bathroom heater cost?

At full power the Caldo Up T uses 2 kWh per hour; the cost depends on your electricity price per kWh. Thanks to the thermostat, the unit switches off automatically as soon as the set temperature is reached, so actual consumption is lower.

Can a bathroom heater run unattended safely?

The Caldo Up T has a safety thermostat against overheating. Keep at least 50 cm clearance all around and never cover the unit. For use in the bathroom, choose a model with protection rating IP21 or IP22.

What is the difference from the other Olimpia Splendid models?

A bathroom heater hangs on the wall and warms the bathroom in a few minutes. Compare all models on our Electric heating page, sorted by type and output.
