Frequently asked questions about this item

Which room is the Olimpia Splendid Caleo Metal suitable for?

The Caleo Metal is a 2000 W electric convector heater that heats rooms up to 60 m³. Rule of thumb: allow 30 to 40 W per m³ with normal insulation, i.e. approx. 57 m³ as main heating or more as supplementary heating.

How much electricity does a 2000 W electric convector heater use?

At full power, the Caleo Metal uses 2 kWh per hour. Thanks to the thermostat, the appliance switches off automatically once the set temperature is reached, so actual consumption is lower.

Can an electric convector heater run unattended?

The Caleo Metal has a safety thermostat against overheating. Keep at least 50 cm of free space all round and never cover the appliance. For use in the bathroom, choose a model with IP21 or IP22 protection.

What is the difference from the other Olimpia Splendid models?

An electric convector heater heats quietly through natural air circulation and is suitable as main heating for a room. Compare all models on our Electric heating page, sorted by type and output.
