Frequently asked questions about this item

Which room is the Olimpia Splendid Solaria Carbon suitable for?

The Solaria Carbon is an 1100 W infrared heater that heats rooms up to 45 m³. Rule of thumb: allow 30 to 40 W per m³ with normal insulation, i.e. about 31 m³ as main heating or more as supplementary heating.

What does it cost to run an 1100 W infrared heater?

At full power, the Solaria Carbon uses 1.1 kWh per hour. The cost per hour is this figure multiplied by your electricity price per kWh. As the thermostat switches the appliance off automatically once the set temperature is reached, actual consumption is lower.

Can an infrared heater be left switched on unattended?

The Solaria Carbon has a safety thermostat against overheating and tip-over protection. Keep at least 50 cm clear all round and never cover the appliance. For use in the bathroom, choose a model with protection rating IP21 or IP22.

What is the difference from the other Olimpia Splendid models?

An infrared heater gives off radiant heat that you feel immediately, without having to warm the air first. Compare all models on our Electric heating page, sorted by type and output.

What is the delivery time for the Olimpia Splendid Solaria Carbon infrared heater 1100 W?

This item is currently not in stock and is ordered for you from the manufacturer. The expected delivery time is 1–2 weeks. You will receive a tracking link as soon as it ships.
